Koh Chang…

Have you ever had that perfect moment, that feeling of complete peace? Your heart just feels happy and no bad thoughts can enter your mind?
Thats how i feel right here in Koh Chang!
My home is a little wooden hut on top of a cliff overlooking the sea, the sun sets everyday just outside my window and every evening i lay in a hammock watching the waves softly crash against the rocks, listening to the sounds of Mother Nature…here i am happy!

Koh Chang was exactly what we heard it would be, beautiful, quiet, magical, just the sort of place i’ve been looking for πŸ™‚
Our guesthouse was the furthest from the ferry port which meant less tourists, not that there were many anyway. When we arrived we were greeted by 2 of the loveliest and cuddliest Pugs i’ve ever seen! Pugs are one of my favourite breed so this made me very happy πŸ™‚
After a lot of cuddles i noticed that these little pooches actually had that real dog smell, strange thing to notice i know but i haven’t smelt that on any of the strays out here yet.

We really didn’t do much on this island except for sunbathing, swimming and enjoying the peaceful nature of it all.
The hammock was my favourite place to be, i would sit there all evening until i was falling asleep and then make my way up the hill to my bungalow, in the dark…

I loved the hammock so much that i bought my very own handmade one from a Thai lady on the market. Best purchase in the history of shopping i think!

My other favourite moment was our first walk to the market. Theres a tiny little wooden bridge you have to walk across to get there and sitting at the edge of this bridge was this little guy…

All i’m gonna say is that if you have seen the movie The Labyrinth then you will understand my happiness πŸ™‚

Koh Chang really is beautiful, i would recommend you visit soon before it gets too touristy!

Next stop Koh Samet πŸ™‚

    1. Haha is your trip gonna be extended then? πŸ™‚
The islands are lovely but i’m bored of them now, i’ve got 1 week left so i’m leaving my friend to sunbathe while i go and explore Pai πŸ™‚ x

      1. No unfortunately we still only have 5 weeks and we’re doing Bali first, so we will only have 2.5 weeks in Thailand. But, we’re already trying to figure out how we can go back lol…and I have heard that Pai is amazing! Can’t wait to see pictures!

Let me hear your thoughts :)
